In 2009 Bishop's Castle Heritage Resource Centre secured a Heritage Lottery Fund grant to develop as a Local History Centre. Our volunteers have worked closely with staff from Shropshire Archives to identify the essential materials that enable them to help enquirers find the resources they need for their family history or social history research.

The Local History Centre is open on Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 1pm.
